JANICE BAULKMON
Born and raised in Buffalo, New York, with formative summers spent along the coast of Georgia, Janice draws deep inspiration from the contrasting landscapes which shaped her early life. Now based in Covington, Georgia her work reflects a lifelong connection to nature, animals, and the quiet strength found in the natural world.
A self-taught artist born with a creative spirit, she works fluidly in both two-dimensional and three-dimensional forms. Her paintings incorporate watercolor, acrylic, oil, and pastel, while her jewelry embraces natural stones, bone, leather, shells, and materials she views as sacred gifts from the land and sea.
Each piece that she creates carries a story, shaped by time, pressure, and persistence.
